Our Services
01.SEMH School Placement
A specialist education placement for young people aged 7–16 with social, emotional, and mental health needs. Learners benefit from relationship-based teaching, emotional safety, restorative practice, and a nurturing woodland environment. Individual progress is supported through tailored learning plans, practical activities, and preparation for future education, training, or employment. Families and professionals can submit an enquiry to explore suitability, availability, and admissions requirements.
02.Outdoor Learning Programme
A practical woodland-based programme using movement, creativity, nature, and hands-on activities to build confidence, independence, communication, and emotional regulation. The approach helps young people develop the school’s core capabilities while learning in an environment designed to support wellbeing and engagement. Activities are adapted to individual needs and connected to academic, personal, and social development goals. Parents, professionals, and commissioners can enquire about programme suitability and placement options.
03.Admissions Assessment
A structured admissions assessment to understand a young person’s strengths, needs, learning profile, and readiness for Berrylands School. The process considers educational history, SEMH needs, safeguarding information, support requirements, and the suitability of the school’s trauma-informed and restorative approach. Families and referring professionals receive clear next steps following the assessment. This service is designed to help identify an appropriate specialist placement before enrolment.
